Franco Corica is a Genoa-born, Sicilian-rooted dj, producer and curator based in Amsterdam. With an expansive sonic imagery spanning diverse genres, Franco's music traverse a broad landscape seamlessly blending house, techno and electro with elements of contemporary jazz and samples from the uncharted realms of video game music. His eclectic musical background allows him to craft immersive, multi-genre sound experiences. He runs record label Jonica, Sicilian-based imprint focused on pushing the boundaries of house music.
Since 2016, Franco has been dedicated to merging sound research with innovative cultural interventions, experimenting with new methods and cultural practices in a variety of settings—from nightclubs to museums, and public spaces like the Quarto Former Psychiatric Hospital in Genoa. In 2021, Franco launched Dialoghi Ibridi, a groundbreaking initiative focused on cultural participation and accessibility for the D/deaf community within museums and music venues. Additionally, he is part of the artistic direction board of the renowned Electropark Festival in Genoa.
