Franco Corica

Franco Corica is a dj, producer and promoter hailing from Italy north-west province Genoa. He runs CODE WAR, a cultural platform and music label. With an expansive collection spanning diverse genres, Franco's sets traverse a broad musical landscape, seamlessly blending house, techno, and electro with elements of contemporary jazz and the uncharted realms of video game music. His eclectic musical background allows him to craft immersive, multi-genre experiences that captivate audiences. Since the inception of CODE WAR in 2016, Franco has been dedicated to merging sound research with innovative cultural interventions. His work intertwines artistic production with on-the-ground fieldwork, experimenting with new methods and cultural practices in a variety of settings—from nightclubs to museums, and public spaces like the Quarto Former Psychiatric Hospital in Genoa. Today, CODE WAR holds a residency at Bonfim Club in Genoa and showcases monthly at Radio Raheem in Milan. In 2021, Franco launched Dialoghi Ibridi, a groundbreaking initiative focused on cultural participation and accessibility for the D/deaf community within museums and music venues. Additionally, he is part of the artistic direction board of the renowned Electropark Festival in Genoa.
